Virginia Tech Student Ryan Clark

Ryan ClarkRyan Clark, one of the victims of Monday’s shootings, is a native of the Augusta, GA area, where I currently live. This morning, I received an e-mail from a co-worker informing me that the elementary school where Ryan Clark’s mother works is collecting donations to assist her with traveling to Virginia and making arrangements for her son’s body. If you would like to make a contribution, you can send your donation to the following address:

Ryan Clark Memorial Fund
c/o Georgia Bank and Trust
409 Fury’s Ferry Road
Martinez, GA 30907

Also, please consider giving this assistance effort publicity on your own blog if you can. Thank you.

4.0 GPA with three majors a month from graduation. I don’t mean to marginalize the lives of any of the other victims, but man. That sucks.

His academic success is what everyone is emphasizing, but I don’t think that’s all he would want to be remembered for. I’m sure that in the coming days his friends and family will pay tribute to his character, as well as his accomplishments.

Malik, my son is a senior at Virginia Tech, and Monday morning was one of the most terrifying days of my life. By God’s grace my child was fine, but I continue to grieve for all the families who lost their loved ones.

Thank you so much for sharing the information about the Memorial Fund for Ryan. And, a more general thank you for your wonderful site.

My son lived next door to Ryan in West AJ. He was asleep last Monday morning and is terribly sad about what has happened. Ryan always was so pleasant with the kids in his hall. I had the opportunity to meet Ryan in August when my son moved in. He was a wonderful young man, so nice to my son. My heart greives for his family and all the others

I would have like to have known Ryan personally.
He was/is an example of how one should live there life. From what I read he died while looking out for another victim.

While I do not know him, I feel the pain as his family does. To the family and friends of Ryan Clark, you are in my prayers.
